Location and places to visit.

The Studio is located in a peaceful village in the heart of Wiltshire, over looking a large common and within walking distance of two rural country pubs, both with restaurants. Our village is surrounded by beautiful walks, manor houses and is not a long drive from the Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon. This town also has our closest train connection with easy access to Bristol, Cardiff or the south coast and London.

We are at an arms length away from the beautiful Roman city of Bath which is set at the bottom of the Cotswolds and at the top of the wonderfully rich countryside of Wiltshire and the south west. Further afield you wil find the Cathedral city of Salisbury and the ancient circles of Stonehenge and Avebury. There is much much more, please look at our link page to find out.

Being only around twenty minutes away from the M4, our part of the countryside becomes very quick and accessible from any part of the country. Below you will find specific directions to the Studio.

Broughton Gifford is situatied north of the B3107 (Bradford-on-Avon to Melksham road). If approaching from Bradford then proceed through the Village untill you come to a T-junction, war memorial on your right and the Bell pub ahead of you. If coming from Melksham the War memorial will be on your left and the Bell pub on your right. Continue along the Common (on your right) towards Atworth and South Wraxalll. Turn right at the end of the Common and proceed over two bumps (traffic calmers). The Studio is Located at No. 84 next door to the white cottage. Please feel free to park in the drive.
